Roger Brown and Ward Bushnell to speak at IPAF Summit

18 March 2010

A last-minute change has been announced to the IPAF Summit being held on 25 March 2010 at the Grange St. Paul's Hotel in London, UK.

Roger Brown and Ward Bushnell, two of the original founders of Genie, will now make the opening address which was due to have been presented by Andy Studdert, CEO of NES Rentals.

Roger Brown and Ward Bushnell, together with Bob Wilkerson, were the owners of Genie from the mid-seventies until the sale of the company to Terex in late 2002. Brown and Bushnell will draw key lessons from the history and formation of Genie and address leadership issues.

Tim Whiteman, IPAF managing director, said, "While we are sorry that Andy will not be able to join us this year, we are delighted that Roger Brown and Ward Bushnell have agreed to step in at the last moment."

Andy Studdert has unexpectedly had to cancel his appearance at the IPAF Summit due to pressing business commitments.

"I very much regret that some new commitments make it impossible for me to address the IPAF Summit this year," said Studdert. "I commend the event to everybody in this business and wish IPAF a successful event."

This year's IPAF Summit looks set to attract a record attendance of more than 200. Places are still available and can be reserved without charge at www.ipaf.org/events. The IPAF Summit is followed by the International Awards for Powered Access ceremony and dinner. Dinner tickets can be booked at www.ipaf.org/iapa
