Skyjack has updated its telematics system with the launch of the Elevate Live 2.0 version, which is said to provide a “substantial increase in field data availability and troubleshooting capability”.

Accessed by using a smart phone and a QR code - rather than by downloading an app, Elevate Live 2.0 now offers an “enhanced” user interface with two additional digital screen displays that show live equipment metrics, documentation and technical information.

For electric machines this includes state of health data such as battery life percentage, last charge date, recommended charging instructions, and controller alarm data with codes.

The telematics system displays similar information for machines fitted with a petrol or diesel engine, with fuel level and consumption, total hours and battery voltage among the metrics.

In addition, secondary guarding features of telescopic and articulating booms now detail instances of overload and allow users to track when the tilt alarm triggered.

Greg Virgo, Skyjack Project Manager, said, “Elevate Live has always promoted equipment longevity and the latest version strengthens that even further.

“Easy to navigate design and enhanced interface with data puts even more crucial information into the operators’ hands to give them more resources than ever before, reducing the workload for rental companies.”

Available in seven different languages on all Skyjack equipment, Elevate Live 2.0 also provides detailed documentation relating to the specific machine model, with a quick start guide, familiarization video, pre-use checklist, manuals and the emergency lowering procedure all easily accessible through a user’s smart phone.

“Our Elevate Live telematics system provides critical alerts and actionable insights into machine operations that help rental companies save time and money,” said Virgo. “The data obtained through Elevate promotes equipment longevity and on site efficiency.”
