Skyjack names Platformers Days line up

Skyjack will be promoting seven product lines are the upcoming Platformers Days in Germany, including its new SJ 6832 RTE rough terrain electric scissor and its new DC motor controller technology for scissor lifts.

A motor controller manages the DC electric motor that drives the scissor platforms, delivering only the power required to complete any given operation. According to Skyjack, this improves performance without overcomplicating the machine’s design. The motor controller also offers longer battery life, lower energy consumption, better manoeuvrability and quieter operation.

Skyjack will promote three of its DC electric scissor lifts, namely the SJIII 3219, the SJIII 3226 and the SJIII 4632. The DC electric range is designed for use on level floors in industrial or commercial locations, and offer zero-emissions and silent operation.

Launched earlier this year, the new SJ 6832 RTE is a rough-terrain scissor lift offering 45% gradeability and four-wheel drive as standard. The SJ 6832 RTE can handle a maximum capacity of 454 kg and offers a maximum working height of 11.7 m.

Skyjack will also show its largest articulating boom, the SJ 63AJ, which offers a working height of 21.38 m, a horizontal reach of 12.19 m and up-and-over clearance of 8.3 m.

From the telescopic boom lift range, Skyjack will be showcasing the SJ 45T. The boom lift has a working height of 15.77 m, a capacity of 227 kg and features Skyjack’s directional sensing drive and steer controls.

Finally, Skyjack will take its SJ 12 and SJ 16 vertical mast lifts to Platformers Days. Offering a zero-degree inside turning radius, these units are particularly suited to working in tight spaces.
