The 103m working height Wumag dominated the skyline at Vertical Days 2011.

Sneaking in under the cover of darkness just a few hours before the start of the Vertikal Days exhibition was Blade Access Specialists' 103m working height Wumag, which was supplied by Palfinger Platform's UK dealer SkyKing.

Dominating the skyline at the UK cranes and access show, held at Haydock Park this week (22 and 23 June), the 103m Wumag had come straight from a job.

Mark Bell director of Blade Access Specialists said that the company has been operating the machine for a few months and it had been on hire all the time on "various projects". After the show it would be beginning a 16 week project in Europe and Scotland.

Blade's truck mounted fleet ranges from 17m working height machines up to 103m, and although unwilling to give too much away to his competitors, Mr Bell did say, "Watch this space for more larger machines."

Blade Access Specialists is one of the companies that form the Blade Group which began as a window cleaning company. The window cleaning element continues under the name Blade Access Window Cleaning LLP.
