Socage collaborates with Philippines distributor

Aerial work platform manufacturer Socage has announced a collaboration with Alliance Auto & Truck Rebuilders that will see equipment from the company distributed in the Philippines.

Alliance is an equipment dealer based in Bacoor that distributes a range of machinery including aerial work platforms and cranes as well as special attachments for machinery.

According to Italy-based Socage, the deal was signed after two years of equipment training as well as several site visits, and is an “important step for the future collaboration” between the two companies.

In the short-term, Alliance has placed an order for 35 Socage Speed units, including a number of platforms from its telescopic, articulated and bucket pick up ranges.

Among the equipment to be delivered is the 18T truck-mounted platform, 10Ai articulated aerial platform for pick up, 13.5 ATi telescopic articulated aerial platform and the 15 ATi isolated articulated aerial platform.

As part of the order from Alliance, believed to be one of the biggest ever received by Socage in Asia, each model will be mounted on local chassis and will come with H+H stabilization and Socage Connect, a technology that enables both the end user and dealer to monitor the units and manage any issues.

“Once mounted on local Chassis, I will personally travel to Manila to visit with Alliance’s sales managers, our old customers to show all the improvements.”
