Socage launches 32m on 7.5t chassis

17 April 2012

Socage's new 32m platform on a 7.5t truck chassis is designed to compete in the German speaking parts of Europe and, said the company's marketing manager Alessio Nannini, will be of particular interest to its Russian importer, Chaika Service, which has already sold 250 Socage platforms into that market.

The DAJ332 is mounted on a 7.5t Mitsubishi Canter truck, which has a 3850mm wheelbase. The new machine is derived from the DA328 and differentiates itself with an articulated hydraulic jib, which has a vertical rotation between -90deg and 15deg and provides additional flexibility in the working envelope.

DAJ332 has a 32m working height with a working load of 225kg and a maximum outreach of 20m with a 80kg load (17.8m with 225kg).

The hydraulically extended outrigger system consists of an extension in the front and two extensions at the rear, it automatically calculates the safe working area according to the extension of the stabilisers,

The DAJ332 is compact and measures 7200mm in length and 3150mm in height so it can be used for applications in urban centers with high traffic density where the set up of platforms mounted on trucks with higher GVW are less manageable or not permitted

Socage is promising more new models bythe end of this year including a 54m working height truck mount, which it expects to launch at the SAIE exhibition in Italy in October.
