Sourcing the data

Publicly listed companies, official accounts are available for the main players in the industry - JLG, Genie, Terex Utilities, Haulotte Aichi and Tadano. The remainder of the companies on the list are privately owned and here the data is harder to come by. Some companies listed were willing to share their turnover figures, for which AI would like to thank them, but nevertheless this is data for which there is no independent confirmation. For those who keep their financials a closely guarded secret, AI has endeavoured to come to an informed estimate as to the value of their 2004 sales. We apologise in advance, but accept no liability, for any inaccuracies that might result. Should there be inaccuracies in our estimates, there is of course a simple way of avoiding them in the future.
