TCA Lift sells first tracked platform to South Korea
17 January 2012
TCA Lift has delivered the first Falcon tracked platform to South Korea and it is being used in maintenance work in the country's largest shopping mall.
TCA Lift's sales manager Brian Falck Schmidt said, "The sale of our Falcon Spider FS320 was possible through our cooperative agreement with our new Korean dealer Yuna Corporation as our new dealer. The Falcon Spider FS320´s primary job is to maintain the big main atrium at the newly built Yeongdeungpo Times Square in Seoul, Korea."
Yeongdeungpo Times Square is not only a commercial centre, it also includes various leisure, entertainment, accommodation, and dining facilities. The designers have incorporated environmentally-friendly spaces: lawns, gardens, water fountains, and a large roof garden. The outdoor spaces collectively span over nearly 14850 sqm, providing areas for relaxation and reflection within the city.
The Falcon Spider FS320 features a double jib arm, automatic outrigger positioning and steering of outrigger and chassis from the basket: its flexibility, light weight - 5900kg , maximum working height of 32m and outreach of 16m has, said TCA Lift made it "the perfect aerial platform to meet the challenge of maintaining the atrium."
The second Falcon Spider has already been sold to South Korea and will be used in the maintenance of the head office of the Samsung Corporation.
