Trojan Battery expands network

Two distributors have expanded Trojan Battery Company's North American network.

WorldWide Battery has joined the Trojan distribution network and will cover territories in Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio, while Northeast Battery, a longtime distributor, will expand its territories throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington, D.C.

WorldWide Battery was founded in 2001 by Dave Petruzzi and John Petruzzi and is headquartered in Indianapolis, IN. It is comprised of six distribution centers that span over 75,000 square feet.

Tom Scarduzio, president of Northeast Battery, said his company was equally excited to expand its distribution of Trojan products.

Trojan Battery's executive vice president of sales and marketing, David Godber, said both developments were positive steps for Trojan.
