Vehicle mount investment at Nationwide

Nationwide Platforms, based in the UK, has introduced around 30 new vehicle mounted platforms to its fleet.

They include more than 25 van mounted units from Versalift and four truck mounts from Ruthmann. The van mounts consis of 12.5 and 14 m models for telecoms and utilities applications.

A number of high specification Versalift units on Iveco chassis were also acquired as part of Nationwide’s 2013 investment programme. These 16.5 m models feature reversing cameras, side and bucket working lights, full internal racking, and hot and cold hand wash features.

Nationwide also took delivery of four 33 m Steiger T330 truck mounts. They have working heights of 33 m on a 7.5 tonne chassis. “The T330 units deliver the working solutions normally associated with an 18 tonne platform, making them ideal for work on weight restricted sites and in towns and cities,” said a company spokesman.

Nationwide Platforms offers the UK’s largest fleet of vehicle mounted platforms, with more than 500 units between nine and 70 m.
