Versalift reaches 1,000 unit milestone

Versalift is celebrating the production of 1,000 VTL-Series vehicle mounted lifts, since it was first introduced in April 2018.

Produced in Denmark, the VTL-series was designed to push the boundaries of the industry and provide the best possible vehicle mounted platform, tailored specifically for the European market. In less than three years, production was increasing tenfold annually, resulting in enough units to reach the top of Mount Everest twice, if stacked end-on-end.

The series saw the fusion of a new, lightweight telescopic platform for light commercial vans, chassis and pickups, available to use with a standard European class B driving license. An expansion of the series followed, with VDTL and VTM models continuing the success of the range.

Manufacturing an extra 1000 lifts in three years requires commitment, innovation and hard work, says Versaift. Therefore, production in Denmark was quickly upscaled to include 50 new jobs in the small region, where Versalift is based.

The markets of France and UK contributed greatly to the landmark sales figure, with the plants in both countries responsible for mounting the lifts, manufactured in Denmark, on vehicles for domestic sales.

Kim Bach, CEO at Versalift Denmark said, “The journey and success so far has been amazing. The VTL/VDTL/VTM product line still has a huge potential for growth in both Europe and in certain countries outside.

“We continue to develop the product line, focusing on customer needs, quality and TCO. As always, we listen to our customers and improve our products to meet updated market requirements.”

The company added, “Versalift is grateful for the enormous support from partners, customers, employees and all the other people who helped us reach this immense milestone. It truly is a remarkable achievement which is made possible by the dedicated employees at Versalift.”
